    Sim Card Authorization Error

    F.Y.I.
    I woke up this morning and found a small triangle with and explanation point inside
    in the lower right corner of my 4G Xoom.
    Turns out I have Sim Card Authorization Error, I have been 4G for sometime now with no issues.
    I called Verizon to see whats up, they stated that my Sim Card is defective.
    They are sending a new one out next day.
    I also read that Verizon has been having issues with LTE 4G last night and today.
    Not sure if they are connected or not.
    I am now running 3G for now, but at least I am still running. A lot slower, but running.
    Verizon was very helpful.
    Not rooted.

    if the 4g network is working in your area a reboot will take care of it. i got the traingle a few min ago. when the 4g goes out - thats what happends
    you need to root and thow tiamats rom for 4g on- easy to do with a little reading
    overclock you will not be disappointed.
    if your 4g with the rom goes out to often the rogue kernel will keep it working great.

    Reboot did not help.
    Verizon waiked me through this process to no avail.
    I will give it another shot, but the new sim is on the way.
    Not sure what sim I got when I sent it in, hopfully it has gotten upgraded.
    Still pondering whether to root or not.

    I just rebooted, I have my 4G back, and no errors showing.
    My area must have taken a bit longer to get fixed.
    You were correct to have me reboot, now I have a new sim card coming tomorrow.
    What to do, what to do.
    I may replace the sim anyway and see what happens.

    their outages have been a little more then they admit in my area- but verizon not being honest is nothing new

    The reboot did not work for long, I am back to 3G.
    My new Sim Card is on the way.
    Do not know why it failed.
