Someone please help? New Xoom

I just got my xoom for Christmas, put it to charge and turned it on...The screen will turn on, flicker in weird ways and then go black. it's fully charged and now I'm VERY concerned! I bought it new from Amazon. Please tell me this can be easily fixed...Thanks for any help =/

Try to reboot

Volume Up and Power button together.

Well i tried the powerbutton + volume up and it rebooted with same problems. I got through the entire set up with only a slight flicker but now it flickers on the lock screen and when i hit unlock it unlocks then goes black again. I read somewhere to make sure that it's fully charged and it says "Charged" on the locked screen but when it's powered off the light is white not green. so maybe I'll wait and see if the light turns green?

When the Xoom power off charging

White light indicate as charging in process
Green light indicate as Full charge.

You need to charge it at least 8 to 10 hours for the first full chrage

Thanks, I'll let it keep charging...the directions said power on and let charge, but it said it was fully charged so I just kept going. at least now I know nothing is wrong yet..thanks for your help

It just turned green, even though it's only charged about an hour..I just checked it and the problem is still there, so i powered down and I'll just leave it on the charger for a few hours...but have you ever heard of this happening? I would expect it to still be able to work...It seems weird

Solution: He turned off the 4G Lte and the Xoom no longer flickered
How he turn off..Im not so sure cause my Xoom not 4G LTE

My xoom isn't 4G, it's wifi....and I wouldn't be able to turn it off anyway because it won't go passed the llock screen anyway.
