Cannot Download Images From The Stock Browser

I am not sure when it started, but I can no longer download images using Honeycomb's stock browser. When I long hold on an image and select Save Image the download shows that it is beginning and never finishes. If I try to grab a picture it is labeled as <untitled> in the notification bar. If I leave it running and select another picture to download the notification bar says <untitled>, <untitled>. If I start three images downloading it says <untitled>,<untitled>, and 1more.

Firefox works although it moves them into its Download folder instead of my Gallery area. Dolphin works as well and moves the pictures to a Download folder inside of my Gallery. I would prefer to use the stock browser though.

I have tried wiping the cache in the browser settings, returning the settings to factory(within the browser app, not the entire Xoom). I have done this through the Settings--Applications--All--Browser as well.

Did you also wipe data in settings/apps/manage apps? It will erase bookmarks saved though.

Yeah, it was the first thing I did.

I tried a hard reboot and a regular reboot.

What does it take to backup my apps, files, and music.pics.etc? I may have to wipe it somehow.

You have to be rooted and using Titanium Backup to backup apps. Since there's no SD card support if you wipe then you wipe the saved data as well. You can connect to your pc and move everything over thats on the memory

Yup just copy/paste them back after wiping.

How do I reset to stock firmware? This is the one time I wish that there were a device manager app for my tablet.
