ICS 4.03 Authenication Problem

Hi all, I hope I'm doing this right. I'm pretty new to forums.

I have an Xoom ICS 4.0.3 which suddenly can not connect to my home router. It worked up until today, but now I get the message: Authentication problem. I can connect to my Verzion 4G hotspot just fine. The problem just started today. Does anybody know what's going on and how I can fix it?

go to settings / wifi
then long press the network that you cant conect to this should give you the option to forget network then hit the forget network
unplug your router for at least 20 seconds then plug back in
once the router has fully restarted go back to the wifi settings and reconect to you router with the corect logon details hope this helps

Welcome to the forum. Glad you decided to join us. Also you might try changing the channel, restart your router and lastly check and see if your routers software has an update.

Thanks, but it still doesn't work. I get the same "autenication problem" prompt. I hoped the upgrade to 4.04 (happened this morning) would solve the problem but no such luck. I read on another forum that Xooms have problems with Linksys routers (mine). I never had trouble until yesterday, but I'm willing to buy a different router if it would solve the problem. Any recommendations?

If you're using WPA you might try changing your router from to WEP, this has helped before.

You just log into your router settings and it should be under security.
