Still with HC, but liking some ICS blue goodness

Hello All,

I am adding some ICS blue goodness to my HC xoom.

So far I have changed the soft keys and it looks pretty cool. Also changed the mouse pointer to something larger and easier to see, nice.

Next, I would like to change the font to the ICS Roboto, if possible. I have seen Font Installer mentioned, but the reviews are pretty 50/50 with regards to works or bootloops. Not my kind of warm and fuzzy.

Has anyone used Font Installer, or any other app, to put Roboto on their xoom?

There is also the question of what things you want to change the font on/in, if I read correctly. Could you please guide me and suggest what to change and what to leave alone?

It looks like it can also backup your current (default) font. Is this correct, or would I just use a nandroid?

Lastly, I need an ICS blue airplane mode icon. Anybody got one? Anybody know the RGB values of the ICS blue letters? If I can find someone that knows how to use photoshop, do you think the stock airplane png could be changed to one with the right blue color?

I would download their systemUI.
- tear it for the icons and dump to Xoom my systemUI.
- push back my mod systemUI to my Xoom.

*ensure the name and size is correct and back up before attemp to do it

Unfortunately the first set requires you to register or login. All the rest, the media fire ones, are all invalid. Bummer.
