Welcome to the forum. Glad you decided to join us. Not familiar with the player since I'm in the US but several things I'd try is to change the channel on your router, restart the router and see if there is a software update for the router. If none of this helps, I'm sure one of our UK members will be along soon.

Hi and welcome to the forum. I'm in the UK and to be honest, I just access iplayer through the browser rather than the app you should find that way it will play with 3g and wifi. I would also do as ggrant suggests

    I'm not an Apple groupie

    UK 3G STOCK

not at all techy, but I'll do my best to find out!

Strange. My UK XOOM wont actually launch the iPlayer app, it just goes blank and directs to the website. Generally seems ro play OK from there but little point in having the app, it becomes just a shortcut

Like others above, I personally don't use the iPlayer app; I set the user agent to desktop in the settings of my browser, which is Dolphin HD, and use the BBC iPlayer website from a short cut on my homescreen.

It's crazy that the iPlayer is compatible with Gingerbread, which is probably mostly on smaller, less powerful devices, yet it's not compatible with any later Android versions, which is what features on more powerful devices that are better suited for viewing video content.
