Storage limit + Root
I'm trying to install Titanium Backup to backup and then updated my room, but, for a reason i'm not sure about, it just tells me i don't have sufficient sotrage to install it (even thou i have 24.24gb free).
As titanium needs root, I'm guessing this might be a problem with having the system partition full (i'm not sure about this).
My questions then, if someone can help me
, are:
1- What is happening? I've googled around and I'm not lucky with finding the right terms.
2- How can I free space to install titanium?
the weirder for me is that I had it installed till yesterday, removed, not installed any app after that, and now i just can not install it back.
Thanks in forward.

Titanium is a root app and you won't be able to use it until you have root and busybox installed on your Xoom. I don't think it's a space issue as I hacve it installed with about the same space left as you and it works and installs fine.

I am rooted. ^^
I'm using team eos stingray #57.
I was using titanium till friday, then i had some problem and un-stalled it, then when i did try to reinstall i got the space error.
I also had this problem with some other root app like 2/3 months, but it wasn't something as primary as titanium backup and i was about to wipe everythin so I didn't mind to fix it.

I've had a problem with Titanium lately, when I hit batch it would pop up with some weird screen wanting me to purchase the Pro license again. My problem was that it came preinstalled on a rom and wouldn't see the license. Had to delete it with Root Explorer and reinstall and it's all good. I'm wondering if you have your backups go to the sdcard if there isn't enough room on the sdcard for a backup.

I had the license problem.
I did solve it exactly as you did, removing the pre-installed version.
It came back now after 1 month, that is why I was trying to unstall it.
My backups are on the sd card, where I have plenty of free space, aprox 24 gb free as I said in first post.
I think the problem is related to system partition space, not to data partition, since titanium, being root, stays under system (I believe, otherwhise this problem would not make sense).

Bringing the topic back to life because it has happened again on a update...
getting the same no-space error.
Last time I found out the solution to be a backup android left -somewhere- in the system. I, just, don't remember where. Anyone?
edit----------
Solved, the error was caused by a *.odex copy of the apk, inside data/app
