- When you purchase? I believe you dddnt sent for 4G upgrade.
Hope someone with 4GLTE will share some light soon![]()
It would have a sim card in it. I you can also tell in the about tablet section of the system settings. It's in status under mobile network type. I it will say lte.
I have the opportunity to buy a used Xoom. The owner states it is 4G, that the original production line for Xoom had to be sent to Verizon for upgrade, but the later builds came preinstalled with 4G. I just want to verify it has 4G before I commit.
Android 3.2.6

Kernal 2.6.36.3-g6963abe

The SIM says 4G, but its not active, so that doesn't really tell me much.

The 'Network Mode' says 'Preferred Network Mode: LTE/CMDA'.
Does that mean its 4G?
It is 4g
activate a 4g SIM, or switch the 4g SIM with another from VZN phone, put it in the Xoom, and you will know
