View Full Web Pages (non-mobile version)

I found this at the following site.

    1. Open the Browser.
    2. Type about:debug in the address bar and tap the Go arrow.

    3. Tap the Menu button in the upper-right corner and select Settings.
    4. You will now have a Debug option on the left side. Tap it.
    5. Select UAString.

    6. Change the setting to Desktop.

Now you can enjoy the non-mobile versions of web pages on your Xoom.

Same here. I've never had Hotmail/MSN open in anything other than mobile view and I've had the "debug fix" for weeks.

I always have to select Full PC site (or whatever it's labeled) at the bottom of the page.

I might be asking a naive question ... but what is the difference between a mobile rendering and the desktop rendering? I don't surf much I get most of what I need through Pulse or other apps indirectly.

    Driving me crazy

Thank you. So glad I found this forum. Couldn't find an answer anywhere. With my new Xoom I need all the help I can find. Will save this site for future use.
