I have Windows Live mail on 2 desktops and a laptop and it works great.
On the XOOM it works great on primary email address but on another address I use it will receive but will not send mail.
It says it is using Port 587 on the outgoing. I do not have require sign in checked. Has anyone else run in to this problem?
I think it is the XOOM doing something on the secondary email address that it does not do on the primary but I have no idea what to check.
When you try to send it flashes a message for a split second saying it has connection problem. I don't understand why it flashes an error message instead of leaving it on the screen to see. I had to send it 4 or 5 times before I could read what the error message was trying to tell me.

Probably a daft question, but I assume you've tried clearing the app's cache and data?
After trying for 2 days to figure this out I finally found the problem myself. The port for my first email address is 25. I changed the port on the second email address to 25 and bingo...I'm in business. I just needed to write my problem out on this forum and the brain kicked in of what to do. Amazing....
