bookmarks backup

Hi all-

I did a little looking around and could not find an answer for this. I want to backup my stock browser's bookmarks. Is there an easy way to do this? My concern is if I need to wipe the device for whatever reason, I'd hate to loose a lot of work building up this new bookmarks file.

In settings use the option to sync with google chrome.

Is this the only option I have? I would prefer to copy the actual bookmarks file and save it.

I would have to double check but you should be able to copy the bookmark files while connected to your pc

OK, I'll keep on researching this one. I went on ahead and activated sync in the browser, that's at least a good start.

Next question for ya -- When using the Gmail app.. When I save attachments, it seems to automatically save them at /sdcard/Download/... Is there any way to make it save attachments on the home page instead? Or at some other location other than default?

No but you can manually move the files with an app such as astro or root explorer.
