    Delete From SD Card

    Hi,

    I have owned a Wi-Fi only Xoom for some time now and really like it. I put my pictures and videos on the sd card. If I try to delete files, everything appears to work but the files are still there. The only way I have found to delete these files is to remove the sd card and edit it with my laptop. Is there some setting I need to change or a certain program I need to use to delete files? Thank you.

    I just go into files - SD card, find the file, click and hold till the bin pops up on the top right and click on that, works for me


    I'm not an Apple groupie

    Download File Manager HD, it can perform delete, move and rename functions on the external SD card

    i downloaded File Manager HD hoping that it would solve my "delete" problem. but just like with ES File Explorer, it still will delete the files but it leaves the folder icon still showing.

    Not sure why, but that is simply not my experience with File Manager HD. You have ICS (or JB) ?

    I'm sorry for the way this sounds but have you tried deleting the folder and not the files in it. Just the folder in its entirety.
