    Wipe/RSD Flash not possible!!

Hello, and sorry if i'm wrong here but ive got a huge problem with my xoom (601)
first of all sorry for my bad english, im from germany and on german helppages no one was able to help me so i decided to go international

    Info:
    Device: Xoom MZ601 (Everest)
Current ROM: Team EOS JellyBean (I think)
CWM: Team Rouge 1.5.0 (v.5.0.2.8 Based)

    My problem:
I am not able to Wipe my device at all! (I'm not an amateur, but also no professional like you guys)
I think ist because it says "Error mounting /data" if i try to Mount /data, which leads back to the encryption i did in earlier stock rom. (Maybe)

Am i right with my argument No /data mount > No Wipe > No other rom flash
I'm asking for this because of 2 reasons, 1. i'm not very happy with my current rom and 2nd this encryption thing is annoying me.

Even a RSD Flash with the Stock Honeycomb .sbf failed.

Is there any possibiliy to decrypt the device?
Or does the failed mounting /data problem come from an other source?

I hope you can help me!
    Thanks.

    first of all, thank you.

i tried it but i failed at
    "adb reboot bootloader"

the cmd says "error device not found"

if i plug in the xoom, there is no change like "usb connected" or anything.

    Unplug your Xoom from PC
    - Go to setting menu in your Xoom
    - Ensure USB Debugging is enable/tick
    - Reconnect to PC
    - Try it again

    Hi to all,

I have a similar but slightly more complex problem.

I have a Xoom 3G running CWM 3.2.0.0 and Android 4.1.1 from Team EOS (3.0 stable).
    My Xoom is also encrypted.

So far everything was fine but when I decided to install LBE Privacy Guard from the market I had to find out that this version (3.x) was not yet compatible with Android 4.1.1 and now my Xoom is constantly restarting after booting into Android.
After several rounds I find myself back in the CWM. So I only have access to CWM at the moment.

So I decided to do a wipe factory reset to get rid of this problem.
A factory reset fails because /data cannot be mounted.

Do I really need to follow the steps as described above and unroot my device and flash a stock rom?

All I want is to wipe my device (including the encrypted /data part) and get back to the latest CWM and EOS 3.0 jellybean?

    Thank you in advance

    Moongate

Have you tried restoring a nandroid? Possibly from before you encrypted it?

What are you guys trying to hide anyway?
