Transferring Music to the Xoom

I have only had my WiFi Xoom for a few days so please bear with me. I'm using the copying/pasting method to move over some music to my Xoom. However, I ran into an issue where only some of the ablum artwork is included with the song. I'm simply going into my itunes folder and copying then pasting into my Xoom music folder. For some songs it included the album artwork however for a few songs it did not.

Do I need to copy a jpeg as well as the .mp3? Do I need to just use an app to transfer music to the xoom to include all of the ablum artwork?

I just moved a couple gigs of music and movie to my xoom by simply dragging and dropping the files I wanted, right into my Computer\Xoom\Device Storage\Music & Computer\Xoom\Device Storage\Movies folders that of course will show up on your pc when the xoom is tethered by way of the usb cable it comes with.

I've also shot 3 movies up to the amazon cloud to give it a try. So far, it looks like a great option as well. However, not nearly as quick as drag and drop (but of course taking up a lot more space)

I just got the cloud loaded up last nite and I gotta say I'm really impressed, it even loaded up missing album artwork automatically. Pretty slick.

I actually just used the dropbox to transfer some stuff then used cover art downloader for the art. Its probably more work but hey I did it all while laying in bed!

No, I haven't tried the Amazon Cloud yet. I only moved over a few songs just to test out the process. If you are telling me the Amazon Cloud is the best method then that's what I'll do. Only issue is that I will always need to be connected to the internet.

Is the cover art downloader an app in the market?

I plan on purchasing the DVD Catalyst software to add some of my favorite movies to the Xoom - Italian Job, Wedding Crashers, The Hangover

I dont want to say its the best method but I really really like it. If you do upload all your music to the cloud, from within the player you can download it to your Xoom, that way you dont need to be connected to the internet to listen to it.

I also highly recommended DVD Catalyst, what a great program. S

There is an option to download from the Amazon cloud to your device locally through the cloud player. Hold down on the artist/album/song and there are several options for download.

I do like the Amazon Cloud service. However, my favorite is DoubleTwist + AirSync. It also does media streaming and works with a PS3 (don't have) / 360 (do have).
