Touchpad quits after a few seconds

Bought a WIFI version of XOOM last night. It worked well for about 90 minutes, then the touchpad become unresponsive over and over again. Basically it would work for 1-3 operations and then stop. Reset, and it would go for another 1-3 before quiting. Full reboot, no difference. Finally, factory reset (which itself took many tries just to navigate to), no difference. Quit part way through typing in PW for router. Seems like a HW problem to me, but just wanted to make sure I didn't overlook something.

If I bought something as expensive as this device and had any issues within a couple of days, never mind, a couple of minuets. It would go right back to the store and either return it for full refund or exchange for a brand new device.

That's my recommendation.

Just remember there might be a wait for your replacement xoom. All the stores in my area are out of stock!
