I am curious about this,
If I start a 2 hour move at 100% charge. I end up with 75%-70% charge after movie ends.
Anybody else experience this?
It seems like it should not drain that much for just a 2 hour movie.
Thanks

That is just about 8 hours of pure movie watching battery life, I think that is pretty good. I have not watched a movie on mine yet though, so I cant tell you if that is typical or not.
Xoom Wifi - Rooted with Launchpad, OCd to 1.6Ghz with Droid Overclock.
anything running in the background... updating weather... pinging for email...? I have to really *really* try to drain the battery.
Sounds about right
sounds about right from my own device.

You can also go into settings -> manage applications and see what apps and device components are responsible for what proportion of the battery drain if you are curious and trying to maximize battery life.
With my Xoom at min brightness (perfect for a dimly lit airplane cabin), in airplane mode, and after a fresh reboot (IE, nothing running in the background) I was able to watch just over 10 hours worth of tv shows and movies on a recent trip. I still had I think 11 or 12% battery life left as well.
Just wanted to update the thread with some more real life info here.
I unplugged my xoom early Thursday afternoon. I've been using it throughout the day (morning, noon, night) in 3g mode and just now (quite literally) did I get the pop up that said I have 14% battery life left.
I've been doing very heavy browsing/surfing with mild youtube video here and there to show off the xoom.
Have been playing stupid zombies and LOTS of facebook as for applications being used (weather here and there as well as google body)
So to make it from Thursday to Sunday without it ever being turned off (only put in airplane mode and then the screen shuts off after 5 min when I'm done messing with it) really impresses me with regards to battery life/performance.
