    Embedded youtube videos in webpages

    Hi everyone,

Have a question. I tried to play an embedded video on a web page ( Warming Glow is a blog dedicated to the best and worst of television programming. Mostly the worst. - the Corgi snow video) and got the following error message:
"your browser does not currently recognize any of the video formats".

Now i'm not sure if this is due to the fact that I have the browser in debug mode to get sites in non mobile format, or if it is a bug. Can anyone provide any insight on this?

I guess I actually have two questions. When I use the about:debug -- settings hack to get sites to display in a non mobile format, I always have to repeat the process again the next day. Is there a way to make this stick permanently?

Plays fine on my Xoom WiFi stock browser, embedded in the page. Did you install Flash from the Market?

Not out of the box, but a hack is available. Search for "uastring fix" and read up on it, as a number of issues have been reported (screen rotation issues, boot loops, etc.). For me, I just added an "about:debug" bookmark and use that when I reboot.

Works for me on wiring xoom. Did you install flash from market?

quick look here! now look down at your feet and say BANANAS real loud. now twist around 3½ times before sitting back down. now explain to your roommate who was watching you that you're not crazy, and that bobjenkins told you to do it

    I'm an idiot, I can't believe I hadn't already done that.

No worries! We early adopters are all a bunch of n00bs anyway, so you're in good company.
