    Unhappy Email Configuration Problem

    Hello,
    I just picked up my xoom yesterday, and am having major trouble configuring it to work with my yahoo email. I have a business account with yahoo, and it is connected to my motorola droid 2 with no problems. On my d2 I am able to access the email, send and receive, and organize the mail into my folders. When I tried connecting my xoom to the email, it connected as a pop3 with no difficulty, but it didn't retrieve all the email. In fact, it only took 14 emails. The ones that it downloaded were more than a month old, (some dating back over a year), and although they had not been read, i have about 5 from today in my mailbox that I have not read. Further, when I attempted to move them into folders, I was unable because it said that pop3 does not support this.
    Obviously the problem is on my end. I must have configured something incorrectly, but I cannot figure out what. My droid 2 was programmed by the gentlemen that sold me the phone at verizon, so I am unsure as to what he did differently. I have tried going into the app in my phone to see what may be different, but I cannot find anything that would show me how he set it up, (no settings whatsoever). Also, (and I am unsure if this makes any difference), the email icon on my phone is orange, whereas on the xoom it is yellow.
    Please help! I truly hope to get this up and running by Monday, so that I don't have to bring my laptop to work as well.

    well, (while typing out my question), it occurred to me that possibly it was set up as an imap rather than pop3...lol that was it.
    I am leaving this up in case anyone else has a similar prob, but if mods feel the desire to delete it, feel free

    No reason to delete it at all. It will surely help someone down the line.
