Hi Guys,
Newbie here. Just wondering if somebody has tried using the Xoom for VPN? I was able to connect mine, but can't access the files thru VPN. Any advise?

i have a buddy in china that uses strongvpn on his ipad. he said its also android compatible, but i havent checked.
on their site is a guide on setting it up: StrongVPN Setup Instruction Pages - PPTP-L2TP-SSTP and OpenVPN Accounts | StrongVPN.com
I've been able to get it work using File Manager HD (look in market). From there you can set up LAN connections. One note: when you do that, make sure you set them up using IP addresses, not the server name (at least if you're dealing with a Windows domain as I was). When I outside of my network and using VPN (I had tested it internally), it could not find the servers. By setting up the LAN connections by IP address instead, it works fine.
I have to use IP addresses for the iMac and Apple Time Machine too.
Adios XOOM it has been, well an experience

I'm using VyprVPN. No problems except I have to manually reconnect when booting or waking.
