Help needed!!!

First of all my xoom 3G has up-dated to 3.1 and all wentwell. I had a small 4GB SD card which l put in and was recognized. My firstquestion is: l would like to free up some space on the tablet and l can find noway of transferring files to the SD card whilst it is in the Xoom. I have alsotried on the pc with tablet attached, but then you are only given the option ofchoosing the internal or the external SD not both, so l can’t drag and dropfiles that way. What l have been doing is making new folders on my pc, draggingfiles from the tablet into them. Once they are in these folders deleting fromthe Xoom then unplug the Xoom plug itback in, select the SD card then drag the folders on to that. Phew!!!! Man therehas to be an easier way, please tell me there is!!
Question 2: l am after purchasing a larger SD card this one Dane-ElecMicro SD High Capacity (MICRO SD-HC) Memory Card - 16GB - Class 4
SDHC is not backwards compatible, so be verysure that your device is SDHC enabled and will accept the card.
Not sure what backwards compatible means, so wouldthis one be okay for the Xoom?
Finally with this latest up-date should l expect myXoom to do anything more than it does, and other than adding the use of an SDcard can l expect more.

Yes the Xoom will accept up to a 32Gb sdhc card. Some come formatted in ntfs and the Xoom needs fat32, so if your Xoom doesn't recognize it you will probably have to format it.

Have you tried moving the files using something like Astro file manager? IIRC there was a way to copy or move files to another location in it. Most will have a way to do multiple file select to do more than 1.
