Xoom movie player?
Is there such an app as an user friendly movie player for xoom. . . . . one that doesn't have to be overly modified (multiple codex). . . . . or is that asking too much??
When I do a search for that rascal, there appears a myriad of opinions. . . . many I don't even know what their talking about.
Thanks. . .

I would go Mobo Player. I think its the easiest to use. While it does have a lot of codecs preloaded, you don't need to worry about them since it will just automatically find the one you need and play the video. One time it told me I needed to download an extra codec when I tried to play a file, but it took me right to the link to install the right one from the Android market. (All the codec is is the software to read different file types like. Avi, .mkv etc. Different videos have different file types.) All you have to do is long press on the video file and select open with Mobo Player. 99% of the time it should play without any codec problems.
Mobo player has a nice feature whereby if you touch the screen on the left (drag your finger up and down) you can change the brightness. Same on the right hand side you can change the volume. Its great for watching a video in bed when I got the hubby next to me complaining.
Sent from my Android 3.1 Motorola Xoom Tablet!

Mobo is good. Personally I convert anything I plan on keeping on the device for any length of time using DVD Catalyst and use Movie Gallery to play them. In my opinion it has hands down the best user interface of any of the players.
