    Emails Disappearing

    Why, after a few days,do all my emails in my inbox disappear? All sent items remain, but not email in the inbox even I tap "get more messages" I get zippo. It's a POP 3 account assosiated with my ISP Thanks

    I have same situation. When I power off my xoom and power on again, I would lose my email in the email app.

    Well, I know what's causing the emails to disppear but not quite sure how to fix it . If I log on to my ISP email account (not gmail) at a computer, Outlook downloads the same emails I've received on my Xoom. When I go back to the Xoom later the inbox is empty. It must be an ISP setting to do with keeping or not keeping email them on the server, I haven't tried to tweak any settings yet.
    Bluesky9 - Unsure if this is related to your disappearing email.

    Thanks,but the problem is still there. I use gmail with IMAP and the email are in the server all the time. I lost the email in the xoom when I reboot my xoom. But when I go to email app and load more conversation, the mail appear again.

    I have 2 email accounts on my XOOM. A gmail account and a Comcast account. My gmail account works fine. The Comcast account will only receive emails if the XOOM is turned on. If it is turned off or in sleep mode, I do not receive emails. If it is turned on, I receive the email but then it disappears after 10 minutes... I timmed it. Does anyone have any thoughts or advise?

    I have the same problem. My emails dissapear after opening them or leaving the email app. Only the email I trew away in the trash are still there. Anyone an idea? Thnx

    Everyone I have spoke to that uses the mail app (not gmail) has been having this problem with all android devices. I use to with my first HTC Droid and then with my Droid X, I gave up and just use my gmail account on my android devices. The Android developers don't seem to care.
    Adios XOOM it has been, well an experience
    iMac i5 OS 10.x

    My emails don't disappear on my Droid X, just on my Xoom.
