    Launch Windows application from Android device?

    Hi all.
    First off, gotta say how chuffed i am with my xoom(wifi only), best piece of kit i have bought lately (next to my ebook reader(prs-600)), and it only gets better...

    Ok, my issue is: i want to launch an application on my windows machine via my Xoom (mainly, at the moment, to launch XBMC if it is not running...).

    I do not want to remote into my desktop and launch apps that way as this always seems to play silly buggers with my screen setup (full HD TV on left screen, desktop in the middle and a screen that shows monitoring software on the right).

    Any suggestions?

    I do not mind running "connection" software on my PC, i just do not want to RDP into it as this logs off the current user, and so starts my screen setup issues...

    Quick question: when you remote into your desktop with SplashTop does it switch off your PC Monitors?

    Just finished installing and testing splashtop, all good so far. Does what i wanted plus a lot more besides. Multi monitor support is something to hope for, but at the moment i do not need to access the other screens anyway.
