flash boot img and kernal from rooted OTA 3.1

    flash boot img and kernal from rooted OTA 3.1

    So I am rooted and on the OTA 3.1. I cant seem to find any info on loading a different kernal or getting SD card working. Can someone enlighten me with some info or links? Thanks in advanced!

    Awesome! Congrats on the root. Not sure how you did it, but if you already have clockwork mod installed, then you're set. If not, you'll want to flash that, then read up on how to flash kernels using ClockWorkMod ...you can find info on how to do both here.

    anyone in the same boat

    If your in the same boat I was in use this link to reroot [How To] Root The 3G/4G And Wifi-Only Xoom (Stock 3.1)

    The new boot image enables sd and you will be able to flash a different Kernal.

    Man, I'm such a Nob at this stuf, but you guys make it pretty easy, MAD props to all you Devs out there. I've rooted my wifes Color Nook to Gingerbread and she loves it, many thanks to the Devs.

    Now I just used your post to root my xoom 3.1 3g/4g. I want to download the USB tool and I'm looking for the Tiamat kernel that I should use to make that happen, little guidance please?

    Once again thank you everyone for your awesome development. I just couldn't wait any longer on google or motorola foe sd support and usb hosting support!
