And it's a refurb... Still, not bad when it'll be upgraded to ICS out of the box, and you don't have to pay for a VZW contract (Remember, the 3G Xoom off contract was $800 originally!)

Be sure you're connected to a good internet connection... Then go to Settings > About Tablet and there should be an option in there about system update or check for update, something along those lines, and it should download the latest.

I have good wifi at home but it wasnt having it. Downloaded a bunch of apps, tried the Google Services Framework trick a bunch of times...no dice. Everytime I check for updates it says none available.
I would consider rooting it but I have aMAC and not very comfortable with all that yet.fillerupmac likes this.

Purchased my 604 for 200$ from Craigslist in June also. If your problem persist, I would suggest a factory restart. Remember "Refurb".
