Motorola “Kore” Could be Manufacturer’s First Kal-El Quad-Core

Recently, Motorola registered a series of web domains. They were MotorolaKore.com, KoreMotorola.com, Moto-Kore.com, MotoKore.com, and Motorola-Kore.com - Industry speculation has caught fire, and most folks in the industry suggest that the "KORE" will be Moto's next generation Android Tablet.

Motorola has been planning to bring a newer and smaller 4G LTE tablet to market soon, and this is what leads people to suspect that the KORE might be a tablet. If this turns out to be true, more than likely it will be some Ice Cream Sandwich based tablet, that will come out later this year or early next year.

While it isn’t yet clear, it may be one of the first tablets to ship with NVIDIA’s Kal-El Quad-Core processor, and that Moto will likely market around those “kores” - Xoom’s sales have been less than impressive, shipping just 250,000 unites in its first quarter, so we can understand why they might drop that moniker.

Of course, all the speculation could be wrong, and this device could end up being something else entirely, even a phone or some other device. We will keep you informed as we find out more.

awesome news i remember the kal el game demos we had here a while ago.they truly looked awesome cant wait to see what this is truly capable of.

I have an admission to make: I purchased my Xoom because they're perceived as klunky and I could pick one up on the used market - one that wouldn't loose to much more value while I waited for the quad cores to come out.

To my surprise, I found I really liked it.

Enough so that I'll stay with Motorola when the Kore comes out!
