Can't flash roms from clockworkmod

I just rooted my xoom tonight. I downloaded clockworkmod and am trying to load a .zip of a rom. But it does not show up. In fact, only a few of the folders on my SD card even show up. I tried putting it in them and it still says there are no files there. It shows all these other folders that are NOT on my sd card. What the heck is going on? What do I do?
Edit: I took the SD card out and it still shows those folders. It's like it's browsing internal memory, not my microSD. What...the...heck??

clockworkmod's recovery does not support the external sd card on the xoom. you'll need to make sure you flash a known working recovery so you can take full advantage of the sd card.

Odd. 'Cause it randomly worked and read from the SD card. All those other folders disappeared and the SD card ones showed up. So it would seem that it does support it. Weird.

What version of CWM are you trying to use? As sardo said there are only 2 recoveries that work correctly with the Xoom, the one he linked and
