Never used the red/blue glasses before. Does it make everything look funny? Does the movie look red and blue instead of normal colors?

I've got the nVidia 3D Vision setup on my desktop, but those are active shutter glasses not compatible with the Xoom.

That's pretty cool flaco, I never thought to try 3D movies o the Xoom. Do you have a list of 3D movies you've successfully watched on your Xoom?

I have seen piranha 3d, resident evil afterlife 3d, step up 3d. Those are the only ones I have seen so far.

It's just like watching it on a regular TV. You do see the red and blue tint. But it really just depends on the source. There is a lot of 3d content on youtube kinda kool to watch.

Do the glasses merely add depth / remain in screen or do you alo get the illusion of certain movie elements coming at you? As long the red / blue can't be seen wearing the glasses, I'd say that's normal.

Besides YouTube, are 3D movie mostly limited to blu-ray rips? What are some good legal sources for 3D movies if you don't do blu-ray?

Most 3d movies out on blu-ray are meant to be watched using active 3d glasses. The red/blue glasses are just like the 3d movies of yesterday... antiquated technology. They do add some depth, but it is nowhere near the quality you'll see on the big screen or at home. The Polar Express was adapted using the red/blue technology, but I couldn't sit through 15 minutes of the movie.

You can covert movies that use active 3d glasses to blue and red 3d glasses. There as programs that do this.
