Just got my new iPad 32GB + 4G+ WiFi yesterday in 5mins time with 0 queue.

Over here in Singapore 0 queue almost everywhere, for those who didn't opt for desperately must have it earlier than others, which 1 network operator M1 start selling it at 00.01 hour early release at Paragon shopping mall branch, and only for new 24months data plan contract sign-up.

I've must admit although the screen was better but it was not too impress, when compare to my old iPad2. Comparing to Samsung Galaxy TAB 7.7 and my 2 Galaxy Note Super AMOLED screen colors are still way better than Samsung Retina LED screen in new iPad, black are not as black, the same goes for others color too.

Now I can't wait to see a Galaxy TAB 8.9 or maybe a 10.1 with Super AMOLED FHD screen. When they are actually release to the market, I'll definitely trade off my new iPad for them, even if they going to release in just the next few days. Anyone see how desperate, how craving and how much I am really appreciating a better color screen? New iPad screen definitely not one!

The apps support are also at mercy. Only 29 apps so far are available for the new iPad resolution, and are mostly paid apps. iPhoto are not free too, it's my mistake for wrong impression thought it was free.

My Singapore favorites apps, Zaobao News PDF scanned version are at worst experience. All texts and pictures are there continously jumpy to scale up to the new resolution whenever I scroll, zooming or even touches the screen. Oh my god.. it look horrible and I'm terrifying. Hope Apple or Zaopao or anyone can come for this rescue. It's 100% dead using this apps in new iPad, at least for now. If there's no solution for it and my suspect for other apps too, I might just trade off my new iPad ASAP for a Samsung Galaxy TAB 7.7.

Damn it. Only less than 1 day with the new iPad, I am already feeling not that excited and thinking it's not worth it. Maybe I will try my best to hold on to it until Samsung releases Galaxy TAB 8.9/10.1 with Super AMOLED FHD screen.

Hey Samsung please say, "We've heard you. Your wish granted. You'll be getting them next week, the worst next quarter." And I'll say, "Here's my order, I am on 1st queue worldwide starting today. Here's my money first, at full amount of course."

I'm going to keep my xoom for now. I have the LTE Version with ICS and it runs pretty smooth. I will consider purchasing a windows 8 pad if it meets my expectations.

Ahh...schadenfreude. Didn't Apple have some exploding batteries a while back? Seems that lesson didn't sink in.

The wife's ipad3 has an amazing screen. Other than that it is an ipad. I can't tell the difference in performance between it and her original ipad.

It was on the news that iPad 3 is mounting complaints .. including the battery running too hot and dying too quickly. I will keep my Xoom.



(I discovered that my screen improved incredibly when I ripped the zagg protective film off a few days ago. It and was scuffed by Moto techs when I sent it in for the upgrade, and had a brownish line running across the top of the screen. After ripping it off, I noticed the zagg was discolored too. I am going to have a Ghost Armor put on it this time next week Hopefully the Ghost Armor will last longer and not discolor like the zagg did)
