Let me be clear, Palm had multi-tasking smartphones before the iphone was even a twinkle in steve jobs eye. Palm had the Pilot before the first ipad was even an idea.
Mind you apple improved on a lot, but APPLE did NOT start anything.
BTW, the treo 600 did cut and paste and had an exchangeable battery from the get go.
I actually had a local radio talkshow host that someone had actually told him Apple created the smart phone. What a joke.

As a side note, I am on a wifi xoom running ics 4.0.4 and have zero problems with performance or anything else.
