We have decided to let this go for now and if it gets worse we'll do something about it. He's just posting his opinion and that's what this forum is for.

What does your other tablet do that's better or different specifically?

Seriously, you can't just make sweeping statements like the xoom is a 'terrible device' based upon solely your experience with one xoom. There are 26,000+ members on here, most with xooms and the majority of whom have great experiences with the tablet and think it's a good piece of hardware. Yes, occasionally there are quirks or difficulties (as with any system) but the forum exists to help us through these. I, for one, have never had any of the issues you have mentioned so maybe you have a faulty unit or issues with your connectivity. That may be the case, but doesn't mean you judge all xooms on this one unit.

You will find that if you do have issues with your xoom, the majority of people here will do their best to help. It's a great forum, one of the friendliest I've seen so feel free to ask for advice. If nothing is working, it might be that you need to exchange your xoom as it may be faulty.

I wish you all the best, whichever way you go.

    Re: xoomv others

I keep looking at the new tablet releases and tbh I'm very loath to switch from my Xoom it's served me very well with minimal hassle (once GEDified for direct updates) the only thing I'd be inclined to switch it for is the new nexus 10 and even then I think I'd be inclined to keep my Xoom and root it so I have something to play with as my poor old htc desire has finally died and now I've got no rooted device to play with  but tbh I'm actually surprised it lasted so long.
