Inresting read, I never knew Samsung devices don't show up as mass storage devices when connected to a PC, that really sucks and is now making me wonder whether to not upgrade to the Galaxy S2.
Just read the comparison reviews very informative thanks
I'm guessing the reason the Galaxy has less battery life while playing video comes down to the screen. You pay a price for that extra brightness and vibrance.

[QUOTE=jblalock77;84425]I have Samsung products, they do show up as mass storage. When you connect to the computer there is an option on the phone screen regarding how you wish to connect.[/QUOTE
]My phone does that now
but they put me through a lot before we got to that stage

How do you get that option up as me and a work collegue did a comparison test I got my htc desire connected in a few seconds by selecting an option on the screen to get it to mount as a disc drive but we couldn't do anything with his galaxy ace as it wanted to install drivers from an installation CD and no on screen options were coming up.
