    Backup and version number question

Hello, I'm new to these forums. This will probably sound like a stupid and pointless question and the title probably doesn't explain much but here goes.

I bought a Xoom a couple of days ago from amazon, set it all up, updated apps/android version etc. But then had to return it due to a dead pixel.

My new one arrived today and during the set up I accidently told the device to restore my data from the google servers. I now notice that the android version on this new one is 3.2 like my old one was.

Just wondering if the google backup backs up your android version on its servers ready to restore? Or is it possible the device just shipped with 3.2?

Like I said it's a silly question, but I'm just a bit weary that it has been updated already without me doing anything lol And just want to make sure its been updated properly.

    Thank You for any help
