Root Wifi Xoom?

I have been debating over the last week whether or not to root my Xoom, I know all the benefits of it, but am worried I might brick it. I'm Not comfortable with some of the methods I've been seeing for wifi only Xoom, especially with no unroot option. Anyone know of an easy way to root? One that doesn't involve possible bricking or freezing?

No matter what you do there will always be risk involved. With that being said, adb is the best way to go. I have a guide in the hacking section if your interested.

Yeah I understand the risk, its an easier decision when its my phone haha, so adb? Ill check it out, thanks. Ill let you know if I have any issues.

could we get a thread, that is up to date, with essential apps and widgets for when you've just unlocked and rooted? free vs. paid? i feel like i'm seeing some excellent threads for root apps that i can't find in the market anymore . . .
