A lot of sites have content which is not displayed to movie devices due to the small screen size of phones and to conserve data. In order to view a full site you'll need to switch ua.

So by changing from android to desktop I will be enabling all of the content that was disabled due to sites thinking I'm on an android phone? Might explain why a few websites don't work properly.
