When I try to move or copy/past files from the Xoom internal to the SD card, File Manager doesn't seem to like changing from internal to the card. The "Paste" icon inactivates when I go switch to external1 and there's no equivalent to ctrl+V on the Xoom. any hints on how to actually transfer files to the SD card? I have no problem doing it when the USB cable is hooked to my PC, but I'd hate to think that's the only way to manage files.

    Thanks in advance!
Please go to the Market, find the File Manager HD application and contact the developer about this problem please. They will fix it I am sure of that.
Adios XOOM it has been, well an experience

Hi and welcome to the club. When you say that you SD won't mount, are you trying to mount via the settings menu? It might be that there are some file system incompatibilities between the phone and the Xoom preventing the mount.

You shouldn't have to 'mount' the card it should become available soon after inserting it into the Xoom.

Do you see the card within File Manager Hd?

If you go to 'settings' then 'storage' do you see the Sd Card there?

The SD card doesn't t consistently auto mount. Go to storage - mount external SD.

Michel, when the screen goes dim try rotating the device from landscape to portrait.

I would suggest formatting it to FAT32 and start fresh, where was the card being used before?

Did you read all of the posts in the (very) short thread?
