Why cant Astro see my SD card?

I have a WIFI only Xoom running 3.2.1 and for some reason if I plug it into my PC I can see the SD card as part of storage on the Xoom. I can also go to the settings and the storage on the Xoom and it sees that I have an SD card, but if I goto Astro it cant see the SD card. how am I supposed to use it as read only if I cant see whats on my card? Did I do something wrong?

Did you try rebooting, taking the sd card out and putting it back in?

Sometimes it's under
/mnt/sdcard

Sorry if that doesn't really help, i use Root Explorer

Ok I had tried all that. and even without a sd card when I go to astro the file name that that comes up is /mnt/sdcard.

Try File Manager HD, when opened there will be a green arrow on the upper right that say up, tap it and you should be at your sdcard.

can i just push in sd card and start using ? or do l have to download something first? my tablet takes two sizes i think so can i use either or both mini and micro? first timer

Welcome to the forum.Glad you decided to join us. The Xoom takes a Micro SDHC Sdcard of up to 32Gb. You can either turn the Xoom off to insert the card or unmount through settings.
