yea thats the 1 i was going to use lol but thanks tho. honestly u think it will read my sd card with the rogue recovery cus i really hope it does or else im screwed!!!!

The Rogue Recovery can flash from either internal or sdcard storage.

I believe the Recovery you are using doesn't see the sdcard. As I said earlier there are 3 good recoveries for the Xoom. What is the version of the recovery you are using and do you have a link to where you got it?

I got it straight from the rom manager app the latest CWM. Is that why it cant read my sdcard? I just dont want to install another recovery for me to have the same issue (not being able to mount sdcard.) Does the xoom need a special recovery?

Yes, the 3 that work are in post #11. Once you get a good recovery just uninstall Rom Manager. Only thing it's good for on the Xoom is reboot to recovery and Quick Boot is much better.

I can't get to make this to work, I always get a dead android robot with the ! on any recovery installed. even the stock recovery

I did unlock the bootloader and I don't remember doing anything wrong since the last time I rooted (3.2.1) other than having 4.0.4.

plz help!
