ROM for ICS upgrade for Motorola XOOM wifi - EOS Nightlies? **Need forum help**

Hello - My name is Shyam and i need help from anyone in the following: (sorry about the beginner level questions, but i could not get any specific solution to my query after browsing)

    1. I have a Motorola Xoom wifi (build number is HLK42B) and Kernel version is 2.6.36.3-g6963abe android-build@apa28#1. It has android 3.2.2 running. I bought it used from ebay (US), i am not sure if any previous rom is used on this. But when i try to do a factory reset, i am not able to delete all the files from the tablet and i installed File Manager app to browse the contents and found the file Tiamat2.2.1 Moray.zip. Could this be installed in the tablet? I am not sure what is stock rom and custom rom

    2. How do i do a complete format of my tablet and i would like to install the EOS nightlies ( i read in the forums that it is well rated for people who want to move to ICS and is also a stable ROM). Can you let me know how to do this please?

    Thanks for reading this post.

    Shyam

If your Xoom is already rooted Just download the rom and gapps package. Put them on your sdcard, boot to recovery, wipe cache partition, wipe dalvik cache, wipe data/factory reset, flash the rom and gapps and reboot and enjoy.

Download a Terminal Emulator from the market. Once it's installed on your Xoom open it and type su (enter) if it comes back with # you are rooted. If your Xoom is a WiFi oinly you would use this thread.

Get Quick Boot from the market, boots to recovery easier. If you think you might want to go back, make a backup in CWM before you flash ICS - that way you can restore back. You should always make a backup before flashing anything.

Hi Grant - This is what i did

went to recovery menu, selected Backup and Restore and created a back-up on my SD Card
Using Quickboot, i went to main recovery menu
    Wipe cache partition
    advanced>> Wipe Dalvik
    Wipe Data/ factory reset
Install zip from SD card >> Choose zip file >> selected the zip file from the link you sent
    Reboot

But nothing has changed, i still get Android version 3.2.2 when i go to About tablet and check Android Version. Any idea what i am doing wrong?

    Thanks
