Odd artifact on screen

This morning I noticed something odd on my Xoom's screen -- a black spot on the display. It's not a defect in the screen, nor is it a broken screen; it looks like a deliberately designed graphic element -- the rim around the spot has a highlight along the bottom edge, and the spot itself is shaded to make it look slightly domed. The spot is on the first screen 'left' of the home screen, and moves with the rest of the icons on the screen as I slide the screens left and right, and I can drag an app icon on top of it, but it's still there when I move the icon away again. Tapping on the spot does nothing, as if it were part of the background. Update: I looked at my Xoom's running tasks with Astro File Manager, and saw that TripIt was running despite my never having started it; I tried to forcex the process, but it restarted, so I uninstalled the app, and when I went back to that screen, the artifact was gone. Weird.

defective widget maybe? who knows.

It looks alot like a folder icon but with nothing in it so it couldnt be a folder lol but glad u sorted it out xx
