    Question cannot open files

    hello i m a new xoom tablet owner, i was wondering if someone can tell me how to open downloaded files. Because after i am done downloading a file and go to the downloads section it says "cannot open file.''

    Welcome to the forum. It depends on the file type. What kind of files are you dealing with?

    Welcome to the forum and I would download a file manager, FileManager HD free, from the market and use it to navigate to the dwnload directory and see if it can open your files.

    i sometimes would try to download videos and updates of the internet but it would not work. the only ones that work are the ones that can be opened through adobe®reader.

    You'll have to have an app installed which is capable of interacting with the type of file you downloaded. Like a PDF reader for PDFs, or a compatible player for video files.
