I'm using mine with a Belkin F5D8236-4 v3, and it works great! Could you have Mac filtering on?

Had a pre N and it worked, just upgraded to a belkin Play N600 dual band and I can connect on 2.4 or 5.8.

wow, then i have no idea what to do. Cause i was able to narrow it down to the brand router until now. That's a bummer. Anyone have any other thoughts to help me? ive tried removing security. I made sure mac filtering was off. I've reset the router and used it as a plain out of the box router without any changes. I love everything about the xoom except this problem.

My Belkin works GREAT with my xoom no special settings!

i think i may have found the culprit. both work and home use a speedstream 4300 DSL modem. what kind of settings do you think could cause disruption?

The modem shouldn't have any effect at all! It's after the access point, after all. Have you checked for new firmware on the router? That will often fix connectivity issues. Hit up Belkin's website for support and firmware updates.

Edit: sorry I'm so late with the suggestion!

Edit 2: Just saw that you got it fixed! Good job. Glad you got it worked out.

If your on the 3.2 OS, set your connection type to static IP and you should be fine.

I steer clear of Belkin products, always have been a headache for me. If there is an alternative, use it. I interface products and devices on many projects. Even if the Belkin product works initially, they have a huge failure rate in my experience. Just my opinion.
Adios XOOM it has been, well an experience
