Forgot Password And Factory Reset does not work!?!?!!?
so i forgot my password and when i go to the reboot screen to wipe date/factory reset it says that
E:formet_volume: make_extf4fs failed on /dev/block/mmcblk1p9
data wipe complete.
E: cant mount /cache/recovery/log
E:cant open /cache/recovery/log
E:cant mount /cache/recovery/last-log
E:cant open /cache/recovery/last-log
any idea's on how to reset this thing so i can use it again? thank you

Man.... I wish there was a way to prove your Xoom wasn't stolen. I would hate to end up helping a thief but at the same time I don't want to turn my shoulder on an honest Xoom user either......
Can you elaborate on your predicament? First time posters that have password issues are always suspect here.

well I got it about 3 months ago used it a little bit here and there then it got lost in my pile of crap on my desk and I change my passwords every other week on everything I own, I've had my identity stolen twice now so I'm really protective of my stuff and almost all my passwords are never a word just a few letters and numbers I randomly pick and save to a id tag I carry on me
Can you give us the details on your Xoom?
Honeycomb version (3.0.1, 3.1, 3.2)?
Wifi-only or 3G?
If 3G, is it from the US or somewhere else (we need to know to suggest the best image)?

umm when i bring up that boot screen it says clockworkmod recovery v18.104.22.168
and its a wifi
