Well, I've rooted my Xyboard using Dan's one click method - worked flawlessly...
Went ahead and installed Chainfire 3D... now I'm able to play Tegra 2 games :-D Yay!

Quick question (though a few months late since I just found this xyboard support forum today). I keep reading that the root process is for wifi models only. I have a xyboard 8.2 4g and I want to root (to overclock and stop backbround processes and apps) but I'm nervous because of that "wifi models only" statement. Will it work on 4g models aswell?
Welcome to the forum.Glad you decided to join us. Take a look at this thread, I have an OG Xoom so not really sure about the root for the Xyboard.
