thanks for you work
I have a XYBoard 8.2 mz609-16, work for me???
I run..
# ./parted /dev/block/mmcblk1 print
Error: The backup GPT table is not at the end of the disk, as it should be.
This might mean that another operating system believes the disk is smaller.
Fix, by moving the backup to the end (and removing the old backup)?

Warning: Not all of the space available to /dev/block/mmcblk1 appears to be
used, you can fix the GPT to use all of the space (an extra 57311 blocks) or
continue with the current setting?

His files would be the ones for yours, but those are test files. We're tweaking to get them to work.

We need input from other user experiences as well as new ideas from other users. I think we got the right update zip built, but the bootstrap portion is the key here to get moving forward.

If you use fdisk -l on each partition, it gives me the size in bytes. Although it should be the same across devices, aside from the userdata partition, it's better safe than sorry. Try:
# fdisk -l /dev/block/mmcblk1p1
And every number up to mmcblk1p20

In terminal

No. The numbers were coming up short. Partitions list gives blocks. I converted the existing hex numbers over n it was about 4500000 for boot image. About half of what our devices have. Once I fixed those numbers, it built without errors.
