I own a mz609. I'm not bricked but my system build is a demo 2 version thus not allowing me to update and having some issues installing apps. Was able to root using Dan's method. Can anyone help me get my system build version to stock? Willing to be a Guinea pig on this one.

See if u can fast boot OEM unlock, if not your probably staying on the demo.

Do u have fast boot installed in your directory that your android sdk / platform-tools are in?
If so open command prompt CD to there put tab in fast boot mode them type
"fastboot oem unlock" and see if it says succsses or this operation is not allowed ( probably not going to work) but worth a shot

Sorry it took so long. You were right. Message says fastboot oem unlock disabled. Guess I'm stuck unless anybody else has an idea.

Its a far chance but try contacting Motorola and see if they will give you or allow u to send it in to be re-flashed with the normal non demo OS

Thanks for your help. I have contacted Motorola to express my disgust about not yet releasing the fast boot files let alone unlocking the boot loader. I doubt it'll do any good but I'll let you guys know how it turns out.

It always helps, they do track the requests of the fast boot files. So what they do with that info is anyone's guess but the do track it non the less
