    Bricks

How many people have bricked and which models do you have? Runandhide and myself have been playing with fastboot flash files and may be able to help. It's a work in progress, but it's been promising so far. If you have a model we don't, we can post a write up for others with your model to pull the files.

Yes and for those that are not bricked yet we could use a few files and some additional info,
We have mine mz609 and his^^ tab but anyone with any varient and u have root already please open terminal emulator and type the following and post the read out here
    Code:
     su
    cat /proc/partitions
Please do this now if u plan of messing around with ANYTHING because we can not do anything for u after u brick...

I have the mz617. You can use the partitions list OR dd from the 'by name' dev directories. The results are identical. We need images for diff models so tweaking can happen with no fear of bricking and development can kick in more fully.

    Here's instructions
If u r using tapatalk open in browser and it will make more sense, in the app everything looks confusing
if your partitions are not the same as below change the mmcblk1pXX to your correct block
( to find your block partitions in adb shell or terminal on device
    "su" enter
    "cat /proc/partitions" enter

now enter theses commands in adb shell or terminal

    dd if=/dev/block/mmcblk1p11 of=/sdcard/boot.img
    dd if=/dev/block/mmcblk1p12 of=/sdcard/recovery.img
    dd if=/dev/block/mmcblk1p17 of=/sdcard/system.img

once the img has been created do these

    adb pull /sdcard/boot.img C:\
    adb pull /sdcard/recovery.img C:\
    adb pull /sdcard/system.img C:\

Commands are the same in linux except you use:
    ./adb pull etc etc.
Also, when using the fastboot in Ubuntu, you must run fastboot as root or it will not work. Either su into root or use sudo ./fastboot flash etc etc...
If you have any problems or questions, fire away and we'll help you out.

You MUST be rooted to pull your images.

im almost certain that these img will fix a bricked device!
i wont double post, but it will allow u to flash the boot img too, so last to test will be the system.img ( which if u flash i would highly recommend u fastboot erase cache fastboot erase userdata, other wise u will likely bootloop

    DO NOT FLASH THE SYSTEM.IMG!!!
Even tho the other two will flash the stock system img will give u a failure and cause a boot straight to fast boot with an error
The only way to get back to normal working condition is to flash something.. something that. We already know will flash is stock recovery or boot img, which will get rid of the failure and allow u to boot back into the os

That's still a bit of progress. We'll have to figure out what is happening on the flash.
