Is it possible to flash a custom rom to the XYBoard? If so any suggestions? I have the 10.1 wifi only.

As we still have no unlocked bootloader we have no custom recovery. That's why we can't flash Roms... At least for now

Yea like nchantmnt said we still have a locked bootloader but hopefully Motorola might start unlocking them this year. Until then nothing unless a dev gets safestrap working on the Xyboard/Xoom 2.![]()
My Devices-
HTC ChaCha - Running Rooted CyanogenMod 9 by adlx
Samsung Galaxy Spica - Rooted CyanogenMod 9
My ROM's-
HTC ChaCha MIUI Port
Wondering what I been up too? Check my GitHub profile.
Hopefully soon. Can't wait to get my hands on cm9 on this awsome device.
But until we see some progress in the development section: lean back, relax and enjoy the stock rom. it isn't that bad all.

Yeah..it isn't that bad running HC for now.
I didnt owned XYBoard, only OG Xoom and Tab 7.7
For Tab, just 1 beta custom rom and lots of bugs.
The best thing i do..back to official stock HC (rooted)
- Freeze unuse apps.
- Install Masqed Crusader.
- SetCPU play with the governor.
- Used Auto memory killer: https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...tokiller&hl=en
- some tweak from google play.
All good to go as custom rom and seem much better than beta custom rom in my trial and error observation.
I would do that to any Tabs and XYBoard if I owned one while waiting for stable custom rom.
And you're right: "lean back, relax and enjoy the stock rom. it isn't that bad all."
I'm still trying to get it cracked. Just been heavy on the schedule lately.
