All this talk about Asurion made me call and add it since I never initially signed up for it when I got the tablet but I was still in the 30 day grace period so they went ahead and covered me..... Better safe than sorry I guess!

Their stupid reasoning is probably that since they upgraded you, you should be happy with what you got.
But its still messed up, any replacement should always be for the same or "similar" item.
Last I checked 16GB is not the same or similar to 32GB
What did they tell you when you told them that other people were getting 32 and you got 16?
I think you should keep trying directly with Verizon, probably likely to get better support from them than Asurion.
Sorry bro! Update or not, this is not good business practice.

They tell me it's based on what they had 'at the time'... A whole 3 weeks later and they have 32gb's but they won't let me send in my 16gb to make this right. Idiotic. I've already gone as far as the regional president of Verizon for my area, they called me and refunded me half of my Asurion deductable but that doesn't put 16 more gigabytes into my Xyboard.
lol Half?
If it was the full amount It would be justifiable because that could equate to the price difference between the 16 and 32? But half is still not really fair.
At least they took some action. Man that is a sucky situation.
Well - you got motocast now :-D So at least that helps :-)
Does anyone know why Best Buy doesnt carry this tablet? I would like to get it to replace my Xoom which i am having some issues with the power button working.
Verizon is the only place in my area that has it, i would just get it from there except I have the buy back plan at Best Buy and I will save a couple hundred bucks trading the Xoom in to upgrade!
Thanks
Bob
Only Verizon Carries the 4G version and only Motorola Carries the wifi version, dunno why that is, I too wanted to buy it from Best Buy because I had a 150 dollar gift card there but came to the odd realization that you did. It's very weird! I think Motorola is playing it safe, they produced a very low amount of these devices and are only marketing them through themselves and the carrier.

Got the Xyboard 10.1 4G 64G. I love this thing, but I can't wait to get cracking on it. Already rooted and partially cleaned up. Runs smooth.
