Had to use Asurion to replace my Xoom since I broke the screen...
Funny thing is, Xoom still works fine... I just don't want that messed up screen anymore... Anyways, Asurion email came in stating that my replacement was no longer on back-order and the replacement model was "XYBRD1016" instead of some variant of Xoom... Pretty surprised by that and I have mixed feelings...
I'm not sure if they're sending me a 16gb model or a 64gb model, as I could read the part number 2 ways, XYBRD 10.1, 6 for 64gb or XYBRD 10", 16gb... I'll be super pissed if they send me a 16gb model since the Xyboard doesn't have expandable storage... I've got 64gb in my Xoom now thanks to a 32gb MicroSD, no way I'm downgrading to 16gb! Though if they send me a 32gb I'll be perfectly happy.
Anyways, what all is known about the Xyboard? I know the specs but the information from the development aspect is pretty limited... Am I right to assume this will have a locked bootloader since it's not a Google Experience device? I can't even find that on the Google! I'm going to try ICS on my Xoom later tonight(and ditch 3G until I get my Xyboard) so I'm sure I'm going to miss having it when I get the Xyboard...
